How reviews get generated

Reviews arrive as text in someone else's system — a support inbox, an app store, a booking platform — and turning them into something postable is manual work nobody schedules. Bound to a template, a review becomes a graphic the moment it lands: the quote, the reviewer name, the star rating and the source. The star rating is the field worth thinking about, since it is usually a number in your data and a row of glyphs in the design; keeping it as a variable means five templates are not needed for five possible ratings. Teams that do this well render on receipt and queue the graphics for approval rather than generating in batches after the fact.
