Seasonal cards are a once-a-year deadline that always arrives compressed. The client list has grown, the design was approved late, and every card needs the recipient's name on it. This is a batch job by nature: one design, one spreadsheet, everything rendered in a single pass, either printed and posted or emailed. The thing worth setting up properly the first year is the data, not the artwork — a clean list with a name column and a company column will still be usable next December when the design has changed completely. Businesses sending on behalf of a named account manager add a sender field so the card comes from a person rather than a brand.
